Employee Referral Program

The success of our employee referral program reflects our current employee’s desire to have their former colleagues and friends join BioReliance or for former employees to return to the company. In 2013, nearly 20% of our hires were employee referrals or rehires and the trend is continuing in 2014.

The average tenure of our employees is impressive:

BioReliance is committed to developing and sustaining effective and timely internal communication. Just a few of our communication vehicles include an intranet site including a weekly update on new hires, programs and events, and client visits, quarterly all-hands meetings with senior leadership where team members are encouraged to ask questions and contribute their ideas, the BioReliance Toastmaster’s Club, and function-based communication teams. 

Corporate Citizenship
BioReliance has a recognized global commitment to giving back in a socially responsible manner as we target programs and events that positively impact the communities where we work and live. All of our employees are encouraged to participate in these regular, monthly activities. Examples of this include multiple STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) based activities with local schools and colleges, raising monies for medical research; quarterly blood drives; donating clothing, books, food and toys.

Employee Relations and Recognition
We understand the importance of activities that provide a forum for gathering in small or large groups or working together as a team to do something fun! We also appreciate that everyone enjoys some form of “thank you” for a job well done.

Wellness and Work-Life Balance

Some of our programs include the annual health and safety fair, a “Spring into Wellness” fair, flu shots, safety initiatives, a walking club, community recreation league soccer and softball teams, Lunch and Learn seminars featuring outside speakers who focus on areas such as work/life balance and stress management, and a robust employee assistance program.
