BioReliance can produce a master viral seed stock (MVSS) under cGMP for viral-based therapeutics. A working viral seed stock may also be required as clinical trials progress and it is very important to reduce the number of passages of thie virus stock to a minimum to prevent the build up of defective interfering particles. As with a cell bank, a virus bank provides documented, stable and consistent material for cGMP production.
