BioReliance Offers 2008 Training Program: Guidelines for
Successful Biologics Safety Testing
The seminar will be offered in two locations: La Jolla, CA on April
3rd, and in Rockville, MD on May 8th. There is no fee for attendance,
and complimentary breakfast and lunch will be served. Topics will
include: Biologics Testing, Clearance Services and Cleaning Strategies;

BioReliance to Host 22nd Annual Genetic and Molecular Toxicology
Workshop
The workshop is scheduled for April 17-18, 2008, at the Gaithersburg
Marriott Hotel, Gaithersburg, MD. Topics include: regulatory aspects
of genetic toxicology; genetic toxicology test batteries, the theoretical
basis for each test system; protocol design, assay limitations,
dealing with positive results; interpretation of data; case studies;
and, the use of predictive screening assays. A tour of the genetic
toxicology laboratory is included.

David A. Dodd to Lead BioReliance Corporation
David A. Dodd has joined BioReliance as the Company's President, Chief
Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, effective December 3, 2007.
From 2000 through 2006, Mr. Dodd served as President and CEO of
Serologicals Corporation, a publicly traded company that was sold to
Millipore Corporation in 2006 for $1.4 billion. Prior to that, from 1995
Mr. Dodd was President and CEO of Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

BioReliance Appoints Executive Chairman to be Interim CEO
and Announces Recent Senior Executive Additions
BioReliance Corporation has appointed its Executive Chairman, Charles
C. Harwood, Jr., to the additional post of Interim CEO, following
the announced resignation of Tim Derrington from the CEO position.
In addition, BioReliance announced that three senior executives
have joined the company since June: David E. Onions, Ph.D., as Chief
Scientific Officer, David S. Walker as Chief Financial Officer,
and Darryl L. Goss as Vice President of Global Process Excellence.

BioReliance Launches Next-Generation Genotoxicity Screening
Service
BioReliance has contracted with Gentronix to offer their GreenScreen
HC in vitro assay as a major part of BioReliance's portfolio
of genotoxicity screening services. GreenScreen HC, in conjunction
with Ames II assays, allows pharmaceutical companies to test for
genotoxic potential earlier in the preclinical development process,
using only a few milligrams of test compound as opposed to the gram
quantities required by current ICH regulatory tests.
