BioReliance’s Laboratory Animal Diagnostic Services (LADS) department offers a complete spectrum of animal diagnostic and analytical services for both routine monitoring and emergency situations. These testing programs are used by laboratories, breeding colonies and animal facilities worldwide to ensure both animal health and laboratory safety. We provide both rodent and nonhuman primate diagnostics.

LADS can help you to maintain your research integrity, minimize animal losses and reduce time lost to animal health related problems. Our scientific staff has specialized knowledge and expertise and is always available for consultation.
LADS pioneered and developed most technologies for viral disease diagnostics of laboratory animals.
Results can be e-mailed or faxed and reports are mailed as soon as testing is completed. GLP compliant services are available upon request.

Serology
We test for the presence of antibody to infectious agents in the serum of mice, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits and nonhuman primates. Methodologies include BioReliance’s innovative, proprietary protein array, ReliArray™, Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), Indirect Fluorescent Antibody (IFA), and Western Blot (WB). Confirmatory testing is provided to our clients at no cost.

Comprehensive Animal Health Service (CAHS)
A modern, well equipped necropsy laboratory is at the center of a suite of labs that provides complete bacteriology, histopathology, clinical pathology, parasitology, tissue banking, and customized studies for a wide range of laboratory animals including rodents, rabbits, nonhuman primates, dogs, cats and exotic species. The lab’s focus is on client service, quality results, and rapid turnaround times.
