Glasgow and Stirling

We currently have vacancies for Scientists to be based either in Glasgow or Stirling. The focus is to provide scientific expertise for commercial Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Virology, Analytical Chemistry or GMP Manufacturing (Cell Culture) projects.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience, and possess a BSc and/or higher degree in a Biological Science. A background in any of the above techniques would be an advantage, as would previous experience in working within quality driven environment. Good written, oral and organisational skills, are essential. Previous experience in supervisory skills would be beneficial.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a key area of the business, and will be expected to act as Study director for projects associated with this business area. In this capacity the candidate will oversee all ongoing projects and act as a main contact for clients in discussions relating to the design of their studies and data analysis, as required. They will be expected to present data or overviews to clients or scientific meetings.
