BioReliance Employee Enrichment Program
To demonstrate our commitment to employee enrichment with a focus on enhancing value and continuously improving the work environment, BioReliance has developed a multi-faceted, global program where our employees are empowered to establish, manage and implement initiatives in these four key areas:
- Corporate Citizenship
- Employee Relations and Recognition
- Wellness and Work-Life
BioReliance is committed to developing and sustaining effective and timely internal communication. Just a few of our communication vehicles include a quarterly internal newsletter; an up-to-date, innovative intranet site; and quarterly all-hands meetings with the CEO and senior leadership.
BioReliance has a strong global commitment to giving back in a socially responsible manner as we target programs and events that positively impact the communities where we work and live. All of our employees are encouraged to participate in these regular, monthly activities. Examples of this include raising monies for medical research; regular blood drives; donating clothing, school supplies, and toys; and making and donating food.
Recently, we have applied for and been accepted to the Corporate Volunteer Council’s “Good Corporate Citizen List.”
Employee Relations and Recognition
We understand the importance of activities that provide a forum for gathering in small or large groups or working together as a team to do something fun! We also know that everyone enjoys some form of “thank you” for a job well done.
We know how to work hard, play hard and show our appreciation to our colleagues - everything from chili and haggis cook offs, multi-cultural fairs, quarterly gatherings to recognize service award recipients, and employee nominated formal recognition awards.
Wellness and Work
BioReliance actively supports the health and wellness of its employees through multiple venues and established programs. Some of our programs include the annual health and safety fair, flu shots, health and safety initiatives, a walking club, community recreation league basketball and softball teams, Lunch and Learn seminars featuring outside speakers who focus on areas such as work/life balance and stress management, and a robust employee assistance program.
